The Gallery

Here you’ll find a curated selection of my previous works, each a reflection of my ongoing pursuit to create. The human form, the materiality of paint, and the power of gesture are constant sources of inspiration for me. While the subject matter remains significant, it is the aesthetic experience - colour, composition, rhythm, and movement - that ultimately takes priority. These elements, driven by my intuition and instincts, always guide me.

The mark-making is integral to my process. I embrace the raw, unfiltered energy of the brushstroke. The interaction between bold, abrupt movement and more tender, nuanced marks creates a dynamic symbiosis that is central to my work. The paint is often laid quickly, in layers, embracing both spontaneity and intention.

Figurative art has always been at the heart of my practice and continues to inspire everything I do. I am fascinated by the human form and often paint the body through an abstract lens. Emotions, identity, and the complexities of humanity are central themes in my work. The world around us is chaotic, and as humans, we crave meaning, trying to make sense of our existence. Who are we? Where are we headed? These questions often guide my creative process, and my paintings reflect this search for understanding.

Womanhood and feminine power are frequent subjects in my art. I feel a deep connection to women, their bodies, and their energy. Growing up surrounded by strong female role models, I’ve always been moved by the stories of women who never gave up. These women, especially the survivors in my family, have shaped my understanding of strength and resilience. This foundation has undeniably influenced my feminist perspective and is woven into the core of my work.

The Playful Period

This period was defined by expressive colour, energetic lines, and a sense of raw, unfiltered movement. During this time, abstraction began to overtake the human form. Figures became suggestions rather than a focal point, creating a balance between splashes of colour and space.

Words, phrases, and letters have always played an important role in my work. With a background in graphic design, I’ve long been drawn to the emotional and visual weight of words. This influence remains strong in my work today, where my paintings often incorporate text both as a visual form and a concept. Words can invite viewers to seek meaning not only in the image, but also in the language itself.

Art, for me, is a dialogue—one where I ask the questions and challenge the conventions.

More recently, I have gravitated toward more conceptual exploration, where the idea behind the piece takes precedence. Though the visual quality remains important, my focus now is on creating thought-provoking, unexpected forms that challenge both the viewer’s perception and my own creative boundaries. I see my work as an ongoing investigation—a way to push boundaries, challenge conventions, and offer new ways of seeing. To question is both my duty and a privilege. Currently, I am working on a special collection, and I am excited to share it with you soon. Thank you for being here - stay tuned for updates.
